My sisters and I started going gray in our 20s. My brothers are just now starting in their 40s.

My parents: late 40s dad just started losing hair. Mid-50s for mom.

Me: nothing yet at almost 40.

My aunt went solid grey in her 20s, my mom went salt and pepper in her 30s, I went salt and pepper at 15. We've all got very dark brown hair as a family, so I was hoping to be like my aunt to make it easier to dye it fun colors. Nope. All my grey is at the very front though, so I look like Rogue.

I started going silver at 24. I’m 48 now and it’s still less than half my hair. But in these really dramatic streaks that everyone assumes I have done at a salon. The irony is that the silver is dye resistant so covering it up is a long, expensive process and it wears off in 2-3 weeks.

My mom not until her late fifties, me, I have a few strands now and then (41.5), my brother none (43), and I actually cannot recall when my dad started greying but probably mid-fifties?

I have no idea! My dad was gray when I was born (and has now passed away) and my mom always dyed her hair until she was very elderly.

I think I started going noticeably gray around 40, but I also color my hair.

I have dark hair, and was getting silver strands when I was a pre-teen. Not a lot, but noticeable if you looked closely. My dad started going gray in his thirties, and my mother dyes her hair. As an adult, the gray hair increased after I hit 35 and will likely continue until I'm at least salt and pepper.

I got silver strands in my twenties, but it wasn’t really apparent until my late forties.

My parents started getting grey strands in their 40s and/or 50s. My mom has a healthy amount of salt and pepper hair, currently in her late 50s. My dad's in his mid 60s, balding a lot but has salt and pepper hair.

One of my brothers and I had 1 or 2 strands of white/grey hair when we were kids. I began noticing grey strands in my mid-30s a couple years ago.
It's not noticeable now because I think most of my greys have fallen out, so I'm preparing for heavy salt and pepper hair in my approaching early 40s.

I am in my early 40s and have some. I've betone having some silver hairs past 30 I think.
Parents idk, I've never cared about it frankly. One of my grandparents had black hair all of his life. He died in his 70s. My grandmother had gorgeous white streaks, but Idk when she became grey actually, for some reason she dyed her hair ugly red till at least her 50s

Me: late 20s. Now I'm mid 30s and the right side of my head has A LOT of white hair. They are dirty blond though so it's not so noticeable. I think I began having them during that time because I was incredibly stressed. But it simply could be genetic. Who knows.
My sister is in her early 40s and has almost all her front hair completely white. She has light blond curly hair so it's even less noticeable than mine.

My middle sister who is in her late 30s but had dark hair has like one or two white ones. My mom is in her early 70s and still has the majority of her hair dark black. I have no idea how that is possible, lol.

Seems like the blondes of my family go white early while the brunettes just don't until their mid-late 60s.
