P.S. I guess there’s also a question of “how anime is anime?” Like, is a game that riffs on Final Fantasy “anime,” or is “anime” something like Persona where high school students save the world? A good diagnostic question here is if Fell Seal is anime, because it blatantly wants to be Final Fantasy Tactics.

Not OP but nah, Fell Seal is sprite-based, but not anime. Not the same thing. Besides the sprites, the art is Western-style.

SA For sprite based AND anime, look at Disgaea or Nippon Ichi's art in general in comparison.
