Re: Term limits

Supreme court, congress, every SINGLE position in every government at every single level.

And I don't know if there's a real justification for an age limit, but I'm down. And frankly 75 seems generous, I could go 70 at the outside. Hell, 65 might fit better. And the same age limit on president. Mandatory retirement. And if we're talking pure fantasy with no actual justification beyond my wishlist, I say wegive them a reasonable pension but a lifetime ban on working AFTER retiring. No cushy psudojob with a lobby group after leaving office.

IN FACT, if I was writing this shit from the ground up - I would make being a public servant like being an old world monk. It should come with A lifetime vow of poverty. breaking said vow should come with a capital punishment.

But that's just me being an anti-government extremist. The term limit would do tho.

Agreed that money as a motive needs to be removed from politics. No one should be making big money while holding office or after holding office with a cushy lobby group job.

Politicians and judges should also not be allowed to accept money from big donors, foreign agents and lobbyists and there need to be limits on how much they can accept from any donor.

They also shouldn't be allowed to accept gifts of any kind whatsoever from anyone. It used to be a "norm" not to accept gifts from rich donors but now we see supreme court judges and the president accepting expensive gifts and favors from everyone all the time. We have to have LAWS to prevent this, not just norms, and we need a way to enforce those laws.
