As if Republican credibility wasn't shot since Bush Jr. already. Stop pretending that whole thing was such a glowing success. Democrats fucked up because of their moral purity olympics infighting. Republicans are more or less united in bigotry.

Yeah, I think Democratic politicians did what they could right up until the wheels came off in 2024 and they first couldn't convince Biden not to run or rally effectively behind a successor, and then too many of them lined up behind "Biden old." As for voters, eggs peeled off too many Boomers who'd voted for Biden in 2020, Gaza peeled off would-be first time Dem voter youngsters and soke leftists, and the manosphere peeled off young guys.

And mostly since then it's been a few judges and Dem governors and state AGs and too few Congresscritters telling Trump and co to fuck off on the politician side, and mid-30s people on up hitting the streets and calling their reps.

Idk what to do about the sharp combined dropoff and rightward lurch in political participation by the under-30s; that worries me. Not as much as the gutting of the Constitution and federal government and Trump and the do-nothing Congress and kangaroo Supreme Court worry me, mind you, but it's still not good.

But claiming that Dems are the ones who fucked up compared to Republicans... I mean, this Republican congress seems super excited to be obsolete/only exist to rubber-stamp their king's bullshit decrees, judging by their abrogation of responsibility to even fund the Federal government that they, y'know, fucking work for.
