Oh my god you’re doing the ‘have you just tried being happy?’ thing but completely unironically. If what Trump wants to do gets passed so many people are going to be driven into awful situations and likely die, this is not a small thing they’re scared about or at all unfounded.

OP of this comment chain: I’m so sorry, I don’t have any advice to give because I don’t know where to start, I just hope the bill gets cut down so much it doesn’t impact as badly. But I know that’s not much of a balm, I just hope you will be as okay as you can be.

I want to hope, but Trump is already telling them to ignore the Parliamentarian and just pass it as-is. I'm scared he will, once again, get his wish.

All I can do is hope you can hold on and stay strong, but I understand that’s exhausting and terrifying. I don’t want to patronise you I just really, really want things to get better for your country(I don’t live in the US so I’m watching on scared for you guys).

TBH at this point I desperately wish me and mine could wheel in to an embassy and beg for help and actually get it in another country. But again: disabled! They don't care about us. We're a ~burden~ and they silently hope we just die already because we don't ~contribute~ as if that's all that matters in life.
