Pretty good. Ate too much unhealthy food, mastered Shogi in Yakuza Kiwami, Watched "The Cats Return" for the first time. Monday was a monday, tho.

Weekend was fun! Got drunk on Saturday and watched Venom: Last Dance while putting together as king size bedframe. It was fun (even if I did tear up my hands). Also, my sister and I played a game where I described a Fakemon I drew when I was a kid and she had to redraw it based on the description. xD

Also, went to Michael's and decided to try two new hobbies (as if I have the free time). Needlefelting (got a kit to make a capybara) and latch hooking (there was some monk's cloth on sale).

Monday was garbage with trying to get that shitty air shipment picked up. -____-

Well today I learned the term "Fakemon." My little sib used to make those! Never knew there was a name for it!

Weekend was mostly restful until last night when for some reason we had more fireworks than on the 4th. So I didn't sleep much and had a really busy, stressful Monday. Did PT and now am sore and have a headache.

Oh, and i found out that the back procedures I need done will cost 30k, which is beyond the other person's insurance limit. So not sure what is going to happen.

Weekend was emotional and long but overall good.

Then this morning I got a surprise period and it has been godawful painful the likes that I haven't had in quite awhile. I have surgery coming up for uterus stuff so it's probably related to that, but ugh in the meantime. My job is not one you can just sit around - lots of moving about and outside time and it is gross and hot and humid so it added to the general ugh-ness of it all.

But I bought me some special treat cookies I am about to chomp on so I'm happy about that!

utterly terrible. three straight nights of ilegal mortars in this residential area from 8p to 2a at points, too humid during the non-exploding hours to go outside (and the mosquitos are ASS). back to work today but also failing hardcore at what little work I could get done, then desperately trying to get some weeding done but again, mosquitos. I am currently slathered in cortizone cream and cursing myself for thinking this was a great time to quit drinking.

I'm sorry nonny. The mosquitos are awful here too, my legs were covered with bites the moment I stepped outside. It's awful.

A friend just told me about using pimple patches (the star ones, yeah?) on mosquito bites, and they work so well!! Much better than cortisol cream.

Awesome! Just got home from Anthrocon, it was a whirlwind of a weekend and I got to do so much stuff and hang out with friends!

Had an incredible weekend camping. Experienced a lot of amazing things in nature, enjoyed not being attached to my phone for the weekend. Treated myself to a fancy stay in a hotel Sunday night so I could take my time showering and deep cleaning myself after multiple dips into a giant lake.
Took Monday off so I can relax a bit before returning to work. It all worked out well. Enjoyed my extended weekend :)

Weekend was good, but I am not happy about this week. It's now our turn on hot weather and my job doesn't have A/C. We think of just working from home.

I am so happy that "unhappy ending" is now a tag a lot more authors are using. I know some still think it's a spoiler, but I hate hate hate reading unhappy endings and even moreso when it seems like it's going towards a happy resolution and then bam, depressing.

Oh yeah, I hate unhappy endings. I'm glad more people are tagging humiliation/degradation because I am not a fan of that.

Ugh I am also not a fan and it sneaks in so many sex scenes, nevermind all the BDSM scenes it sneaks in.

It completely ruins a fic for me.

YEAH. I hate when there's surprise degradation in a kink scene where the only tags are for the stuff I like.

I appreciate "unrequited" a lot. I love fics about longing and pining and it helps me get in the right mindset if I know they For Sure WON'T end up together.
