lol yeah, without context I have no idea what I just watched. Normally I check out as soon as I see vampires are involved, but gotta admit the vibe/style of the movie from that clip and your passion have definitely grabbed my interest.

It's the 1930s(?) and twin brothers (Both played by Michael B. Jordan) just came back to their Southern hometown from running with Al Capone. With the money they got, they opened a Juke Joint and invited all their friends.

The singer is a preacher's son, and the Twin's cousin, who loves "The devil's music". And like it said in voice over, some music can bring spirits from the past and the future. In context it's an amazing scene.

Also, since we're talking spoilers, it's nice to watch Michael B. Jordan gun down a bunch of KKK members in the climax.

I also watched Sisu right before that so I got to watch a bunch of Nazis bite it, too. NICE.

Sinners is now on HBO Max, btw. Folks don't have to pirate it.
