Sorry, I should have put 'his fans' instead of 'everyone' because that's who I really meant. I mentioned his age because people seem a little more sensitive to others harassing older people (I'm not talking about simple complaints but make no mistake that some fans have risen to the level of harassment). But often, when you get older, things get harder to do, it takes you longer, you have less energy and your cognition suffers, due to age-related changes.

If he's in breech of contract, his publishers do have avenues to do something about that, but is he? Are the details of the contract known? Has he received money for the installment he's currently writing from his publishers? Or has he fulfilled any written contractual obligations pertaining to the series and is just writing to finish?
