There have been rallies with white supremacists and neo nazis, along with political and social media campaigns. I'm kind of shocked someone is unaware of it all, but I guess if you're not in the US you wouldn't see it.

In general, I marvel at the audacity of this (likely white) British dude trying to dismiss the concerns of minorities in the US on the basis of "I talked to a few right wingers on the internet and thus know more than you, you dumb little minority who is actually impacted by the situation". It's almost like he's trying to be a parody or poster child of the clueless privileged white millenial dudebro who thinks he has some wisdom other people just totally miss because he read something on a blog that enlightened him.
