Still, I wish you'd said you thought I was doing something poorly. I mean, I picked him up before the movie was even released, I had barely anything to go on so I had to fill in a lot myself. During like...my weepy, abused 'please use me' uke phase. Everyone improves, you certainly SHOULDN'T have let one bad RPer ruin a character for you.

Because it gave me more freedom with the character. I'd always worried about being accused of not being Canon or whatever, but as you can see it backfired anyways.

I don't usually plan cannon characters because people instantly assume any OC is a sue or stu, which isn't always true, but my version of Yazuu was taken poorly anyways.

What's just sad is that no one said a thing and this was YEARS ago. I wish if someone had a problem with me they would have said so, I would have tried to be more accommodating, but in the end I write for myself and not really for anyone else so if you don't like my riding -shrug- don't read it, right?

Actually, even if the characterization was terribly off (I watched the movie and went Oh god my Yazuu is nothing like canon), I feel that was the time period I did some of my best writing, inspired by other great RPers. I regret someone was upset SO MUCH I ruined a character for them, no one who likes a fandom wants to ruin it for anyone else, but I don't regret the experience or the friends I made.

Then? They might have been, but if you wanted to have any play time in SEU you basically had to hook up with SOMEBODY.

And again, it was years ago, my character building and writing have hopefully improved from being a high school sophomore and being two years into college. I've also matured a lot obviously, I just feel like not talking to the person who was the source of strife (in this case dislike for a character) is really unhealthy, and of course a secret like this when it comes out completely discredits the person it's about. Now even if I wanted to join another comm people would think 'oh she's that crappy Yazuu I don't want her in my game' no matter how good an application I might build. It's practically mud slinging. ESPECIALLY when people jump in with anonymous posts slamming the person too.

Excuse me, I was a player in Squenix until it was killed by the mods and we had an excellent amount of plot. The way you're making it sound is as though there's no roleplay without hooking up and noes and woes. Grow up, that's not how you play and your self-condescending attitude isn't making your argument any better.

Well at least we agree the mods could have paid more attention to what was actually going on. I'm not asking you to like me, or the way I played him, I just resent being slammed like this when my information was all over the site for contact and this shows up over TWO YEARS after my last post to the community claiming I ruined something for someone like this. Explaining myself and my views isn't whining or bitching, unfortunately the internet lets us all assume whatever we want doesn't it? Just breeding excuses to behave in ways we NEVER would in person.
