Same, tho I think I prob remember the first few eps of LoM better than the later ones. I feel like he and Gene did learn to work together a little so there was maybe *some* amount of 'redemption' for Gene, but I mainly remember Sam's shock/outrage at the way 70s police would beat up suspects in the cells etc and their unscientific methods, which I guess is sort of a dialogue with stuff like The Sweeney? But yeah totally fair to just dnf something because you dislike a character too much, who hasn't
