I can see it.

Those two don't deserve Eli. One is a hypocrite pretending to be a Christian, (Oh, I am so weak in the flesh. Why can't I be a strong Christian? I know, I'll sleep with this chick here. Oh, woe.) And the other attaches herself to any available guy that will take care of her. Eli is really the only decent one of the ship. Like I said, he deserves better.

Wow, you really don't know much about Christians do you? Hint: We're not all right-wing judgmental blowhards. We're fallible, we do things we shouldn't and things we regret just like you and everyone else on the planet.

Wow, you haven't seen the show much, have you?

And, yes, I would know something about Christians since I am a practicing Catholic. But I also know that being fallible isn't an excuse if you keep on asking for penance on a certain sin only for you to commit that very sin again the first chance you get. Which is what this character does. He whines how he so weak in the flesh. He begs for forgiveness. But what does he do? He sleeps with anything that moves. That's a horrible Christian. Sure, he may believe in the Christian doctrine but he makes no effort to follow it.

How is he sleeping with anything that moves? He had sex as a teen and got a girl pregnant and we've seen him have sex with one other person (granted, I haven't seen this week's episode yet, so maybe I've missed the massive orgies...). I don't know, I think you're kind of reaching because you want to pigeonhole him into a specific type of person.

Nevermind, apparently there was some sexing going on in the episode I missed. But I don't think that makes Scott automatically a bad Christian or a massive horndog.

Yes, there was sexing. In the little over 48 hours he has been on that ship, he has hooked up with two separate women. One of which, he had just met. And all the while there was on going emergency. It may not make him a massive horndog but he is sure off to a good start.

And the bad Christian thing is, his whole story line is about how he tried to be a good Christian but he made the slip up and got a girl pregnant on a random hook-up. He asks for forgiveness for his transgression. But he hasn't worked on correcting his mistake or preventing himself from making future mistakes of the same nature. Basically, he thought it was a sin for himself to sleep around. That's why he asked for forgiveness from the priest. But he is still sleeping around. Alot. He is not really remorseful. He just says he is. That makes him a hypocrite posing as a Christian.

I can totally see it. Though I'd rather ship Eli with someone else. >_>

I can definitely see that, especially after the last episode. Even though the sudden Scott/Chloe sexing made me blink.

The only thing I hate about Chloe is that she's being written as a trophy girl between Scott and Eli.

I think that Eli deserves someone better than Scott or Chloe. It's just...He's a good person.
