Re: Rants!

Oof, I understand that frustration. Living in a small town where the local options were fast food burger chains and a couple Chinese restaurants for the longest time. We are finally getting a Chipotle this year, but it hasn't opened yet lmao
When I lived with my sister in a bigger town, I really enjoyed being able to have so many variety of restaurants nearby.

My rant: realizing one of my friends was sorta a shitty friend when we were younger =( they took unflattering photos of me (mostly me mid-mouth open eating food). They never did that to any other friend.
And funnily enough, they stopped doing it when I began taking unflattering pictures of them in the same way.
When I saw the pictures they took, they laughed it off as "lol just being silly - as friends do". I was really insecure and desperate not to lose what little friends I had so I brushed it off as "ha ha it hurts my feelings but I need to lighten up! There is no harm in this. My friend just likes to make people laugh and make things funny. Friends make fun of each other. And it's my fault anyway for being fat and ugly, of course they'd be tempted to take unflattering pictures of me."
Because this was how my friend played things, I thought to myself "well if my friend thinks it's silly and fun to take photos of me eating I will get in on this silly ribbing too". I would like to believe there was no malice in the photos I took, but looking back now...IDK.

But it is interesting that they stopped taking the unflattering pictures.

This happened years ago. I was reading a Reddit post about something similar, and I'm like, "Wait...this happened to me too...how come I didn't question of there was malice when it had happened back in the day with my friend? Huh, now that I think about it, my friend did stop taking those unflattering pictures after I shared pictures of them mourh open mid-bite with food in their hand...do I need to journal this?"
