Honestly, while I don't think that personally disliking those things means you should be judging others for liking them, I get the reaction. At least, those of us who grow up in more conservative, fundamentalist, traditional communities where we're told we need to be feminine, where we're told that being female means being feminine, where we're told there is something wrong with us for not being traditional, it can lead to strong dislikes and desire to be different.

I've come around as a more mature adult to recognizing I'm a mix and that the point is choice. But there are things that still very much aren't me.
