Agreed. When Steve was around, Bucky was rarely more than a plot point, something for Steve to get upset about. When he left, Bucky got plots and arcs of his own. I always thought he was interesting and had potential (that was wasted) but didn't get invested and become a Bucky fan until after Endgame.

But then, I'm not into Stucky. I can see why people would be, but it does nothing for me, I've tried.

I think if I weren't suck a sucker for Stucky from Winter Soldier I would feel this way. I definitely understand where you and OP are coming from.

And then they made FATWS where he was solely as prop/accessory for Sam, and everything with Bucky to anyone who isn't a Sam/Bucky shipper took place offscreen.
