Not OP of the secret, but if there's any recs that come from this I too would be interested

I wish I had the link for you, but the only one that comes to mind was a Stargate Atlantis fic years ago where Rodney and John were taken hostage (or something) and when they returned to Atlantis they both developed different eating disorders. I liked the take because it treated overeating and hording food as just as serious as starving, and the focus had nothing to do with weight goals/weight in general.

That sounds amazing and exactly like the type of thing I'd want to read, something dealing with the characters' mindset and different behaviors around food.
