Hard, hard disagree. To each their own. But I hate Lower Decks.

I love SNW but Lower Decks is terrible.

I love Lower Decks but Strange New Worlds is a very episode-by-episode proposition for me. Everything with M'Benga is half-baked and poorly thought out, the Gorn as the xenomorph from Aliens is unimaginative and more horror than I like in my Star Trek, and I just do not want or care about Spock's love life that much. (Though this T'Pring is possibly the hottest woman in any series of Star Trek ever, so I would love to see them replace him with her.)

I admit I haven't watched Lower Decks past season 1. But I really, really didn't like it. The characters, especially one particular one, are very dislikable and I have no interest in rooting for them.

With Lower Decks, I'm not much interested in Spock's love life. But other than that, I really like it.

Lower Decks S1 was definitely the weakest season, but if you didn't like it by the end of that season, it's probably not for you, which is fine.

Season 1 may be the weaker season in most Treks, but generally there were at least likable characters who were starting to shine. Lower Decks didn't have that for me.

I loved Lower Decks, but I really like Strange New Worlds. It's very nostalgic Trek to me.

What's the opposite of damning with faint praise? Blessing with a flattering comparison? Because yes I like Lower Decks best but that's like saying K2 is a shorter mountain than Everest. Like, yeah. But also, damn it's tall.
