Nostalgia Goggles

What things do you love to watch, regardless of quality, just because they were big for you when you were younger? What things bring up happy childhood feelings?

Inspired by the Sabrina secret. Not an amazing show in terms of quality, but it is just fun. I kind of want to rewatch again now.

Dirty Dancing.

It's a pretty fucked up movie and definitely shows its age in a lot of ways but I loved it as a kid and it still holds that fun nostalgia for me. I don't even know why we were allowed to watch that as a kid, but my sister and I just adored it. The soundtrack can always put me in a good mood.

I was obsessed with Are You Afraid Of The Dark as a 90's kid. Some of it hasn't aged brilliantly and there are some episodes that are a bit bland/boring, but some had some genuinely great ideas and it's like a big warm comfort blanket for me whenever I revisit my favourite ones.
My whole family loved The Simpsons and Futurama growing up, so they'e always an easy comfy rewatch.

It’s kinda weird, but shows like Divorce Court, Maury, and Jerry Springer. Maybe because that’s what I would watch when I was home sick from school.

For me, court tv shows in general. I loved them as a kid. Judge Judy can make me uncomfortable now, but I still love watching it.

I Love Lucy but it still holds up. I used to watch it with my Grandma all the time!
