What's the biggest aura loss you can think of when a true/real form is revealed?

Mine is the Beast from Disney. When he turned back into a man, I just wanted him to go back.

I'm not sure what you mean by "aura loss"? You mean just a disappointment in a transformation?

Most non-human -> human transforms suffer from this imo. A lot of the time it's really obvious that the human form is like an obvious afterthought handled by the third-string art/animation team because the character is non-human for most of the plot...

Interestingly, this is lampshaded (to use the TV Tropes term) in the 1946 live-action film-- Beauty actually asks what happened to "her Beast".

The animated Disney version of Pinocchio was actually cuter as a puppet than as a human boy IMHO. Don't know if that counts.

I will never forget the sound of the entire cinema erupting in laughter when Kylo Ren took his mask off. That is still one of the most unexpected funny moments in all my years.

When a character who's been assumed to be a slightly effeminate man turns out to be a woman. I have no gender preference but I do have gender presentation preferences and effeminate men are attractive to me, butch women are not.

The Phantom of the Opera in the movie! The stage version has some really great makeup, but the movie version, where you think they'd be able to go further, has some mild sunburn.

I thought the movie one was scary. I've never seen the musical.
