This was me, but with that bug infested nightmare of The Sims 3.
I had to delete everything, all the mods and even the old save files that I was archiving since around 2010 because I needed to completely cut the cord. I dread knowing how many hours I wasted on this game...
For me The Sims = very bad bound of depression. I used it to completely dissociate when I couldn't deal with my IRL shit. It's been 4 years now since my last gaming session on the sims and thank god for that. I hope I will have the mental fortitude to never ever play it again.
