Anon, a category like "asexuality" is just as oppressive as a society that dictates that people must be straight as opposed to gay, asexual, queer, or whatever the hell. I go around saying I'm gay because it's the easiest way for me to function and hell, I like Judy Garland and the Pet Shop Boys so whatever, it's an idiom I function in. That being said, if I ever found a girl I loved and wanted to be with, I'd feel okay doing it -- while still saying I was gay, because I am.

Know what? IDENTITY POLITICS SUCK. Just be happy. XD

Asexuality is a huge umbrella and it's so annoying to explain to people who want to get all up in your face about it. :( (not you, I mean, just commenting in general, in case that wasn't clear.)
