Re: Walking pad

(Anonymous) 2025-09-02 12:29 am (UTC)(link)
I'm 5 feet/153 cm tall and I find my walking pad the perfect length. If you're tall with a large stride, you may have to shorten your stride -- heard some taller folk complain about it. I think it's great for walking with headphones and zoning out. I don't run on mine (only walk briskly) and in my head it makes the thing last longer because I'm not jogging and jolting the pad too much.

I store mine vertically in my tiny apartment, and after give or take 3 months the thing still works fabulously. If you're going to be storing then taking it out, make sure you get one with wheels at the front.

Oh! And something none of the reviews told me is the possibility of motion sickness. I've never used a treadmill nor a walking pad before, but going from walking quickly in place to a full stop makes me dizzy. If you're done getting your steps in, slowly reduce the speed to a halt to minimize dizziness.
