I doubt the restaurant is breaking any laws but without the web address we don’t know.

I will say that the first time I encountered the exact same situation as OP, I paused my ordering and called the restaurant because I was confused if the included stuff had to be selected and if I would be charged additional for it. It took like 30 whole seconds of my life to get an answer and submit my order.

DA people dont want logic and solutions, they want to be angry and not do anything about it.

I have done something about it. I've taken my business elsewhere, to a restaurant that doesn't use online ordering at all.

Baw dog you still be bitching about it, you haven't done anything you just are avoiding the problem now.

This is such a weird comment. If they don't like the way that place does things, going somewhere else is the best way to solve the problem.

You shouldn't have to assume that the menu you're using to order online is incorrect. And if it is, and it's impossible for the business to fix it, then that function shouldn't be there at all.

You do understand that this is bad design and customer isn't the one who should do something about it? Also that people use online ordering often enough because they can't or don't want to talk for one reason or another.

they probably are, ones about false advertising and how images of the product must be representative of the product being sold. bread with plain chicken can't be represented as a full sandwich unless that's the default base or reasonably representative of the base product. this is likely too small time for anybody to go after but there are laws about this sort of thing.

i don't really have a horse in this debate and didn't touch on calling them to order or not, so no need to argue with me about that.
