It's possible, but it's down to the people involved and the situation. Were there extenuating circumstances, like grief, trauma, serious misunderstanding, etc.? Was it a one-time thing? Is the one who committed infidelity genuinely remorseful and willing to work to fix things? Is the one who was cheated on willing to actually forgive and work to fix things?
