Having not actually watched NCIS for about ten years, I saw a post about this spin-off and assumed it was a shitpost. After a few too many comments seemingly fully committing to the bit, I had to look it up and realized it was a real show.

Still baffled that this is what they went with.

Yep, all of this. I don't really know if I hate Soda Pop or Golden more - but I think Golden wins because it gets used in so, so many shorts/reels as background noise that even if you block any and all movie related tags you still get bombarded with this song constantly.

Yeah. I think a lot of people...don't understand the sitcom format. And it's totally okay if you don't like it, but please realize that, "they're awful people" is not a brilliant take. Yeah, duh, that's what everyone's laughing at. It's schadenfreude.
