Also, as a great fan of Japanese media, I must say that the rape = love trope is one of the things I ignore hardest. Right after the even more common forms of casual sexism, degrading humor and other attempts at making my vagina cry. I take it you have not an ounce of respect for the lady in question as a "human being", to talk about her like she's a sex-toy designed to abuse and humiliate until she suits your male character's wants.

I don't think you're ridiculous. I think your support for hateful, misogynist story tropes is skeevy as hell and would make for some appallingly unconvincing fanfic, irrespective of anything 'worse' out there. Other ideas being 'worse' doesn't stop yours being a giant stack of fail.
