Re: Rice Cookers

It’s silly to think people can’t cook rice on the stove. I have a rice cooker for several reasons. It frees up a burner if I’m making rice at the same time I’m making dinner, it’s a set it and forget it task so I can go do other things without concern I’ll burn the house down, and a high volume rice cooker is more affordable and easier to store than the size cookout I’d need to make 12 cups of rice at a time. Everyone in my household but the cat eats brown rice with every meal. That is a lot of rice and I make a batch every 3-4 days that we store in the fridge. I could do all of that on the stove, but why would I?
