My mom got some tortillas from a home baker and they are just...ugh. Not even, too thick in some spots, too thin in others, and powdery as hell. They taste fine so I've been working my way through them because I hate wasting food.

we've fallen into tough money times so I had to cut back on the good ingredients for pizza. the dough was Not Right, the cheese was surprisingly gross, and the sausage was meh. I'd rather not have pizza than scrimp on cheese and dough. Or get Papa Murphys, their deal days are cheaper than delivery AND homemade.

I bought this package of hard candy mix and it is all so gross. I thought it would be a good way to curb my sugar/munching cravings but I don't like any of the flavors.

I threw up last night due to sickness and the last thing I ate was ramen. I don't think I'll be having it again anytime soon.

NOOOOOO. There is nothing I hate worse than throwing up and my brain associating it with what I ate previously (even if unrelated). Threw up buffalo chicken a decade ago when I had kidney stones and I still can't eat it. :(

Agreed! And idk about you and other anon but it is so random what my brain latches onto. Sometimes I puke and it's whatever. Othertimes I puke and my brain goes "welp. never eating that again."

This happens to me and I hate it. My worst case was coming down with a stomach bug a few hours after eating an amazing chilli. Spent the whole night awake, puking violently and absolutely miserable. Even after finding out the chilli wasn't to blame (two of my friends got sick too without eating), I couldn't look at chilli for months. I made one last week and even years removed, I still had flashbacks.

We were at my uncle and aunt's place over the weekend and every meal my aunt made was far too salty. And I'm a person who has a high salt tolerance and like food on the saltier side. But it was entirely too much.

I tasted a dollop of frosting off leftover grocery store bought cake from a party. My expectations weren't high, but, wow, it was terrible, decided not to even try the cake itself.

Not exactly recent, but I tried Dubai chocolate and hated it so much. So. Much. Sugar

I love chocolate but I don't like pistachios at all so no Dubai chocolate for me thanks

I am neutral on pistachio, but I just don't like when sweets are too sweet. And it was sugar incarnate argh

They tried to make this weird cotton candy stuffed chocolate the next big hype (Which kinda failed) and damn, that was even worse.

I've seen it and decided to nope out of it HARD

If you like the idea of pistachios and chocolate, Trader Joe's sells dark chocolate-covered pistachios that are very tasty.

As for the thread proper: I was rather fond of Entenmann's chocolate-coated donuts but I had one recently and it seemed to taste more like wax than chocolate (maybe they're trying to cut costs). A real shame.

Cannoli. I did not expect the cream filling to be so heavy. Looks delicious, but I do not like it.

I had the same experience trying cannoli. Did not expect the heaviness/texture or the flavor. Not for me.
