If the characters are trans in the show/movie/book, sure, no tag needed, unless you make them cis, in which case, yeah, it needs a tag. It's not analogous to het or slash because the pairing tag IS the slash or het tag. But you change the genitals of one of them, yeah, I want to be warned for that. I want genderbent to be tagged too, whether you bend one or both cause that's not the source material.
