You sound like you don't know what you're talking about. There's good research that some people who have issues with alcohol are able to learn to drink in moderation, while others repeatedly fail. Not everyone who's had problems with drinking too much needs to stop drinking entirely, but all available research suggests that it is a helpful strategy for some people.

OP also never suggested that it was a matter of morality or righteousness, nor something that needed to be changed in games across the board. They framed it as wanting an option for when they play a game.

+1

Ayrt sounds like a troll. Or taking it oddly personally that some people don't drink. I have no hate of alcohol, I just don't enjoy drinking and have lost family members to alcoholism. So I don't drink at all. Doesn't mean I look down on alcohol or people who do drink.

nayrt but yeah, OP does sound like a prude because I play a ton of RPGs, and Yakuza games and things like Catherine (where the primary character interaction spot of the game is a bar) aside, I'm really struggling to think of games where alcohol is more than a passing mention at most. It truly just doesn't even come up in the vast majority of games.

Didn't realize you've played every game in the world. How do you have time?

What roleplaying games other than the ones already mentioned in this thread have alcohol as a significant part of the narrative?
