Upgrading a computer. Mine is too old (about a decade!!) to run Win 11 (though it would no doubt make a perfectly fine Linux box). Thing is, since I don't play high-end games or do high-def video streaming, I never needed to upgrade before now...

Good luck with your tikka masala! Protip: if you're trying to make it like the restaurants do, keep in mind that they probably use a lot more cream/ghee than most recipes will admit to.

At the end of this month I'm going to a convention and cosplaying for the first time. Well, a few of my Halloween costumes from years past might count as cosplays, but I've for sure never been to a convention. It won't be my first time flying alone, but it is my first time booking a hotel for myself.

All of this is assuming I don't do anything else for the first time until then, like get covid or get hit by a car. Fingers crossed.

Off to the Races by Lana del Rey - but only with the weird middle part cut out; keeping it in ruins the flow and the lyrics are stupid.

Chandelier, by Sia.

Powerful song about alcoholism with incredible vocals, absolute shithead that made that bigoted film against autistic people.

I don't think she's so much bigoted (she's also autistic) as very, very self-centered. A lot of her songs are good! Then she got big overseas and got really aggressively ~artistic~.

I hate Chris Brown but there are a few Chris Brown songs I like

"Drop It Low" by Ester Dean has a feature from Chris Brown

"Loyal" is catchy and I kinda hate that I like this song

Kanye's appearance in Estelle's American Boy... sadly, it isn't even a case of 'this song would be so good if this asshole wasn't involved', I fully enjoy his bit in the song! I just... hate him as a person. Possibly if I listened to his music I would genuinely like more of it, but I'm not going to find out.

For artists whose music I don't like... I think there was a Train song I liked, and I was surprised it came from a band I had previously really disliked the music of, I just can't remember now.
