it's the other way round
when the minion hype started I felt the utmost dread 'cause those fuckers reminded me of the Rabbids, which I also hated with a passion (though, I am admitting through gritted teeth that minions are 'cuter' even though per se I would never call them cute on their own, but in comparison to that horrible Rabbids designs, it is easy to be more appealing visually)
URGH I still hate them violently
