It didn't start out that way, mang.

I kind of suffered from Creator Breakdown.

Yeah, I think maybe I didn't word that too well, hahaha. The thing I noticed when I crawled the fandom's hangouts a while back was probably more that nobody really wrote stuff that was entirely true to (admittedly, what I felt was) the spirit of TF2. It was all angst or darkfic or really weird cracky stuff (see: Tentaspy) that didn't gel with me at all.

And I didn't mean to direct my inquiry at you, it was just a little observation brought upon by this and the recent rash of Cuanta Vida secrets (though I will confess to not having read the comic since I'm... not really interested in doing so from what I've seen, so if it's actually secretly the land of lollipops and butterflies in comic form I wouldn't really know that).

It's taken a weird turn lately, but I'm kind of curious as to where she's going with it, so I hang out there.

Also, I am attempting to rectify some of the darkfic stuff by going back to writing more humorous, light-hearted stuff again... since I pretty much traumatized the entire chan with my Halloween fic I did and I kind of need to make it up to those guys. It's not being written as quickly but dammit, I'm trying.

(Also considering that most of my favorite pieces are slice of life fics as opposed to ones that are supposed to make people baaaawww, I suppose it's for the best.)
