That's what I originally thought. Turns out they're one of the most wank-filled fandoms on LJ.

Pardon me... did I read you right? They KICKED YOU OUT for WATCHING some other communities?

I want to know where the fuck any community has a say in where else its members are occupied. A community should NOT be allowed to micromanage lives. Unless a member is blatantly bashing the community or causing severe wankage they should have NO SAY in who watches, joins, or says what. That is some bullshit right there. A community =/= someone's entire life.

ontd_blueberry, you have lost a little bit of my respect.

Here's the story...

There's been A LOT of wank within the blueberry community itself, the inner circle bitching among themselves about the others and vice versa. Like secret exclusive comms/chats for select members were starting to spring up etc etc. The mods were so paranoid about trolls and spies in the main comm that they went around banning people over small things that they thought were suspicious. Those two comms mentioned in this secret were set up for people to discuss these things anonymously, and of course the mods freaked and banned more people. But the old mods have since quit and there's a new mod now... wonder how well that will work.

Long story short, ontd_blueberry is nowhere near as united a group as you might think. The whole thing with Eli was screwed from the beginning. Very funny, and I still have mad props for Eli, but the whole thing was out of hand from the start.

I shall lol for a long time :D

I always thought that comm was tight, despite the locked membership. Interesting to know the story.
