There's a new album coming out?!?! When?

Right now, it's looking like it'll be out during the spring of 2010. They haven't announced an exact date yet.

A new album?! Really? I thought they stopped doing the Gorillaz.

Well, there were plans to do a Gorillaz movie during the hiatus after the second album (with the third album acting as the film's soundtrack) but the movie thing fell apart, so now we just have the third album coming out next spring.

Hah, the family dynamic in the band kept me from shipping it for an awful long time. I'm not exactly sure why I began to change my mind, but gradually I found myself shipping it. Murdoc rescuing Noodle from hell and calling her 'lovely Noodle' on the BBC radio show in January just made me ship it more.

First off, I love Noodle so very much and it wasn't Halloween that got me excited this year, it was remembering it was her birthday.

But then again, OP - these were my EXACT thoughts [your secret] last year when she turned [18]!

Maybe it's just this picture, but does anyone think Murdoc looks a bit...Christmas-elfy? If only a little greener and ...Hmm.. Something's off.

They look nice, just something feels off.

It's probably too early to tell what the art for this phase'll look like. Heck, there was that one picture from early in phase 2 that had them looking very different (Murdoc with a goatee, Noodle with bluer hair, etc) compared to the drawings that came after it.

You're right about the elf thing, Murdoc's ears do look a little pointed in the other new drawing in Wired. I can't tell if it's done on purpose or if Jamie just drew them at a funny angle. Only time will tell, I guess.

Huh, so they actually age? I thought they were all perpetually stuck in...whatever age they were all supposed to be.

(lol, I've only listened to like, three or four songs from this band, I know almost nothing about them. Though most fanart I've seen have been pretty good)

I am so fucking glad that I watch Fandom!Secrets. Because the Kong website started freaking me out just after Rise of the Ogre was published. What with that message from Noodle and the falling-apart building.

Because without this secret, I would never had known ahead of time that OMG YAY NEW ALBUM!!! And yes, very much yay for Noodle being old enough for non-pedo shipping =)
