I think I hate Shonda Rhimes more than I hate him, but I kinda can't blame you. That show is plummeting to the ground in flames and he's still kinda pretending it's awesome, and (allegedly) screwing over the actors. And I HATE HATE HATE when writers/creators forget/ignore their own plotlines, and that show has the most ADD storylines ever. WTF.

I am starting to believe every negative rumour I hear. There have been enough little incidents where... yeah.

1. Joe Pokaski and/or Aron Coleite answering a fan question from a female fan about the treatment of female character by talking down to her and acting like she's just not paying proper attention.

2. The two also had the habit of answering these questions in a way that sounded like they were annoyed and did not give a fuck. How did Nathan come back to life? It happens! People survive gunshot wounds all the time! Next question! It got worse as Season 3 progressed. I guess they were really pissed off that fans expected the show to make sense, and were pointing out plotholes. They're not answering fan questions this season. Wonder why.
Another oddity was that they used every opportunity they got for character bashing. Mohinder was called morally weak and a scumbag (or to that extent), and they even made up lies to make him look bad, claiming that there was a deleted scene where Mohinder sells out Molly to evil guy Arthur, because he is such a horrible, spineless asshole. Turns out in that deleted scene, he does not tell Arthur where Molly is, but Arthur reads his mind and gets the location that way.
What drives writers to make up lies to make their own fictional character look bad?

3. The time Stephen McDermott tweeted a photo of a script, and some spoiler sites were able to get some information out of it. Fearful for his job, McDermott did the sensible thing and told his followers to spam/flame the websites, accuse them of hacking his account and photoshopping the photo just to cost him his job. Deletes his twitter when he realizes hecan't win this, and calling fansites "scum" is not going to make things better for him.

4. The same guy's reaction to the Adrian Pasdar rumour/news: An angry rant where he personally attacks Ausiello, Nikki Finke and Kristin Dos Santos. Especially Kristin, he compares to a sex worker. He thinks they are scum (a recurring theme with him), that their jobs are not real jobs, implying that menial workers are also beneath people who write for TV shows....

5. Kring's assistent, Jim Martin, posts a whiny rant because somehow, he does not understand how anybody could dislike Tim Kring, his wonderful boss. Explains that it's not all the writers' fault, the original scripts are always much different (better, I guess). It's always the others.

Uh, yeah. Etc. I do not doubt for one bit that these are horrible, hateful people to work for/with. They clearly have a superiority complex, and they also suck at their jobs. And this is definitely not surprising from people who adore Tim Kring, who famously called TV viewers "saps and dipshits".
