A part of me thinks people have been really harsh on Taylor Swift because she declared herself as "your favorite English teacher" and it rubbed people the wrong way lmao

Captioned alongside her engagement photo on Instagram was something along the lines of "Your English teacher is marrying your gym teacher."

So I misspoke that she titled herself as "your favorite English teacher", but to label herself as an English teacher is hilarious and annoying nonetheless.

I'd say the music teacher is more appropriate, but evidently allegory has never been Taylor's strong suit so...
