Favorite Character Ensembles

What media do you think had the greatest collective groups of characters. The ones that just worked so well together and made the most interesting cohesive whole?

For me it would be Lord of the Rings, Babylon 5, Deep Space 9, ATLA, Buffy, and Star Wars.

Ohh, seconding this, TWW had an exceptionally good ensemble cast. Both the characterizations and the dynamics between characters were so cohesive and believable.

Andor
Arcane S1
Halt And Catch Fire
Battlestar Galactica
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
The MCU, sometimes. (Sometimes the execution was great, other times less so.)

In some ways, Harry Potter, and in other ways not. The thing I think is great about the HP cast is that it's sprawling and extensive and yet the worldbuilding allows all the characters to feel like they exist and are doing their own thing out there whenever they're not actively present. OTOH, the characters often had problems with being described in surface-level, sometimes stereotypical ways, and even with main characters the characterization-work tended to go only so deep and no deeper. So I guess my stance is that on a macro level, as a tapestry, HP has an extremely good ensemble cast. But on a more intimate, close-up level, there were flaws and weaknesses woven throughout - some of which have become a lot more jarring over time.

Where do people get scanlations these days? I haven't looked for one in ages.

the big one for Shonen Jump and a few other popular series is TCB scans. they keep having to shift and hide direct access but they announce their links on twitter.
