I bought an optical drive just so I can rip DVDs from the public library and make my own scene packs of my favorite characters. I already watch those compilations on YouTube. Sometimes between bits of fanfiction, to keep the appearances and voices sharp in my mind. Sometimes just to go to sleep to a comforting voice.

I literally can't sleep at night unless I have an audiobook playing lol. But it has to be a book I've read or heard before, because if it's new, I stay awake listening to the story. And the narrator has to have a voice I like. So I totally get it. It was worth the money for you I am sure. Libraries are great!

Oh wow I could have written this comment LOL If I don’t know what happens next, I’ll fight sleep to find out. And while I have a giant collection of audiobooks that includes some narrators I can just manage to stand, my bedtime listens have to be with the best narrators. I want certain tones as I fall asleep. Also, don’t listen to Dungeon Crawler Carl at bedtime because Prepotente has a tendency to appear out of nowhere. He will scream right in your goddamn ear like you’re Carl himself.
