Somehow I don't think they read the article in the first place. But it's funny that they picked the one where the experts keep going "don't say we said he had autism, that's not what we're saying"

Although it is kinda exactly what they are saying, they are just scared to say it so they don't get flamed for it. It is a social engineering thing, can't say the bad guy had the bad thing, because it might upset some people who can wreck your career for saying it. It is against the current social paradigm to suggest that sort of thing.
