Whew this is old wank. The comment was made in direct response to a secret in which the OP didn’t express a desire for an accurate adaptation. They slammed the shit out of everyone involved in the production including the cast. In the thread, they misgendered Emma Corrin. They also had made a previous secret months before dreading that Netflix would cast POC. They even confirmed they were the same secret maker and said at least all the POC were pretty light skinned. Shit like that IS why people hate Austen fans. Go scroll on tumblr for ten minutes if you don’t believe me.

Are you talking about a post on tumblr or here on FS? Because I'm pretty sure I recall which secrets you're talking about and while there was some accidental misgendering of Emma Corrin, IIRC it was corrected and none of that other stuff sounds at all familiar. At the very least, I suspect you're confusing nonnies. Links?
