As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and while I'm definitely not the world's greatest expert at secret design, I'll try my best. Please note that long comment secrets can be difficult to make with a good end result. Most of the time, I'll give it a shot but might not be able to make secrets where the text is so lengthy that I can't fit it into the limited space.

I'm trying something new with the comment secret thread and extending the deadline to comment until Monday's post goes up. I'll monitor this thread until then, and hope the extra day will be more helpful for everyone.

I'm still mad at the Morbius movie because of how fun the comic book character was. Everyone needs to read the Franken-castle series with him.

I've stopped buying battle passes for the games I play and I'm a lot happier.

The person I have been fandom friends with since Markiplier in Space came out has not been taking the news of Markiplier getting married well. Since the images dropped of the wedding, she's been doubling down on posting and reblogging thirst posts of him.
I'm still sticking around because I like her fics on Markiplier's fictional characters, but I hope it doesn't spiral into something worse.

I hate that Omegaverse is a thing in yaoi manga now. I do not want to be reminded of Supernatural and its fandom when I search for new bl to read.

In that and in novels and I hate it.

It was so surreal when I went into the manga section and saw three omegaverse titles being displayed. It was like, what are you doing here in the real world you belong online.

I never got into Breaking Bad.

I watched the first two seasons, and found it too bleak, and the characters too unlikable for me to want to follow them.

At least give me interesting lore like Game of Thrones or something.

Supernatural was the worst thing to happen to fandom culture.

It was the great destroyer.

I am in a very small fandom community and lately there is this one member who keeps posting asking for help (trauma dumping at the same time) but when people offer help they always have an excuse why that won't work and get really aggressive and mean. I've refrained from replying but just the whole thing has soured the fun of the community for me.

I've avoided the community for a few weeks now and am kind of angry that I've let one person ruin my fun escapism but also kind of angry at that one person for ruining my fun escapism.

It's become an intrusive guilt cycle in my head and I just feel kind of dumb about the whole thing.

They had like two seconds of screen time together and yet I came out of One Piece Live Action hardcore shipping Mihawk/Shanks.

Don't worry,you're in good company. That scene is straight from the original and people have shipped them since 2000 (the year, not the decade).

I'm tired of the giant complicated story lines on Critical Role. I just want a fun adventure, not complicated world politics and five million threads to follow.

I guess this show just isn't for me anymore, I just really loved the first two campaigns.

Happy for them to have fun but sad for me not to be into it.

I don't like improv or watching stand up comedy, generally speaking. But for some reason the 'Noise Boys' episodes on Dropout hit right every time. I just find those three really fun and funny together.

Fandom: One Piece

People talk about Luffy being canonically ace a lot, but personally I find Zoro a far better example.

With Luffy, there's his immature, childlike personality that can be and is used to argue that it's just a matter of him growing up more. But Zoro is already depicted as a mature and (mostly) serious adult while having ZERO moments of romantic or sexual attraction to anyone.

B!S: I think Oda saying Luffy was just imitating Usopp during the Bon Clay and bath scenes in Alabasta is a retcon. One I like but the writing of these scenes just doesn't support it.

I don't think Adam Sandler is a good person. I don't really have a reason, just vibes.

B!S I think less of Jennifer Aniston because of her relationship with him. Again, don't really have a reason why, just a gut reaction.

I just got into Bob Dylan’s (early) music this year.

I find it to be depressingly still relevant.

I love Gowron's arc throughout Star Trek. We see him first in TNG as an idealistic outside, appalled by the insider corruption of the high council, and we see him rise as a bold new leader, sometimes inexperienced and outflanked, through being an experienced politician, becoming a true leader of his people, then his fall as the paranoia of power and the stress of war takes its toll, and finally his death as tragedy when he can no longer control his hubris by the end of DS9.

It is a complete character arc. It is brilliant. It makes me want a Star Trek:Klingons show, but focused on the Klingon politics.

I think pomegranates' main appeal to me as a child came from the Greek tale of Persephone in the Underworld with Hades

I'm really looking forward to Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.

(Although I can understand where the Snyderbros are coming from on being slaty that canon didn't go the way they wanted it to, they've been so awful about Superman that I'm hoping the Supergirl movie is both very popular and pisses them off even more.)

I wouldn't mind the trend of publishing longform fanfic with serial numbers filed off as romantic fiction if it wasn't mostly het stuff

I don't know why people were so upset by aliens in Indiana Jones The Crystal Skull. Is that really weirder than ancient holy weapons and such?
