I don't care for most of the rap and hiphop I hear getting played in public. I'm sure there's some great stuff, but the stuff I hear getting played usually has some sexist bullshit, or homophobic bullshit, or just generic dick-swinging bullshit that puts me right off. I'm not trying to take anything away from the people who love it and for whom it is meaningful. It's just very obviously not for me.

Yeah, generic "I've got a big dick and lots of money" hiphop is fucking annoying and very mainstream. It's annoying because I do like good hiphop but I'm an old white lady and I find it hard to discover since the streaming days started.
