I’ve never been so misled by a cover in my life. It’s gorgeous. The book is such absolute trash. Sharing this here because I need to express my irrational disappointment and it seems meanspirited to write that as an actual review somewhere the author might actually see it. But omfg, it's so bad. (ToT)

I am at a point now where the prettier the cover the less I trust the book. I've been burned way too many times!

me neither tbh. In fact, I was wondering if it was AI, though it doesn't have that sepia/piss-yellow color filter or generically kinda-sorta-animeish look a lot of the slop art seems to be developing.
