Didn't Brooks announce new Spaceballs back when The Force Awakens came out?

Anyways, I am not interested, and I love the original Spaceballs.

I think it was more “vague comments of intent/interest” at that point. Seems like it was only properly announced as really happening in the last couple of years.

Likewise, I liked the first one and lots of Mel Brooks’ work, but not interested in this.
