I have a lot to say about the Witcher in general; I love the books and I have thoughts about their content and execution, I enjoy the show and have thoughts about content and execution and how it does and does not function as an adaptation, etc. But the one thing that makes it extremely difficult for me to enjoy the show is so fucking petty I can't even. I keep holding out hope that some day Joey Batey will get a decent haircut and he never does. Why. Why is this apparently so hard.

I only watched season 1 and I thought his hair was fine, but every still or clip I’ve seen of season 2 and beyond makes me boggle at the styling choice for his hair because it’s just… awful. Surely they could have done something better than that. It’s like they’re tying to go for an almost Aragorn type look with the mid length hair and stubble but he’s not pulling it off at all.

that the man has decent haircuts and can really rock the longer hair look. Just goigle "joey batey hair" or look at the photoshoots for his band as evidence. Idk what the Witcher production has against this man but they are doing him dirty with these hair choices.
