Oh man, when I was in high school, my hometown had this amazing Taiwanese restaurant that had the best beef noodle soup. They had to close because a Trader Joe's moved into the strip mall they were in and rent prices for the surrounding businesses all skyrocketed, and afaik the owners haven't reopened somewhere new.

That sucks. :( We had that happen to a really nice diner here that had the best spicy chicken panini. I still think about that sandwich.
