Interesting, I am a survivor of SA and I don't find the euphemisms necessary, I find them somewhat irritating in fact. They're not offensive to me either, more just strange. Often when I see people saying stuff like "gr*pe" it comes across more like joking around about the topic than how you explained it here. I don't mind jokes about heavy subjects myself, so that doesn't personally bother me, but it is not something I would do.

Same. I'm not triggered by these words by themselves, and I'm ok with dark humor depending on the context. But seeing phrases like "graped" on sites that don't force censorship is pure whiplash.
