I have a game group there we meet online on weekends and play some party tabletop games. Lately new people opened chat for a lot of offtopic conversations. For example. One girl just now have been telling how awful her travel home was. After a post about game dates/time. Like. Girl. Please

I don't know how to open conversation how chat became barely usable. Also this isn't on discord so we can't make different places for admin talk and casual discussions.
I wonder if I should just go considering how some new people annoy the fuck out of me in game too. But it seems rude.

(Yes,I am an adult, but my conflict resolution skills are laughingly bad)

Maybe suggesting moving to discord so you can do an off topic channel for chatting would be a good idea for this group?
