Me, too! I guess it would have been way too cutesy to have them paired up along with Ross/Rachel, Monica/Chandler but I was always hoping it would happen. But I loved their friendship, too, something really special between the... uh, special ones of the group haha. =] Man, I miss the show, I can't wait to re-watch during Winter Break!

As much as I loved Phoebe and Mike, part of me was still rooting for Joey/Phoebe. But they had the most epic friendship ever so I'm not sure how that would have worked out if they had started dating.

One of them suggested that it be revealed in the series finale that they'd been having casual sex all along, but the writers said no. ;) I always thought that'd be kinda fun.

Agreed, but I don't want them have a typical, monogamous relationship. I want them to have the same relationship that they have in canon, but with more sex.

LOL, maybe you meant Ross/Rachel instead of Rachel/Chandler? Or you actually are addressing a R/C shipper, so in that case, never mind.

As pretty much everyone else has said, a part of me also wanted Joey and Phoebe to end up together because they had such a great connection, but it would have been too... IDK, perfect an ending for the show. Plus, there are lots of nice little J/P moments throughout the series. I'll even go so far as to posit that they had a (possibly drunken) one-night stand, and then promised never to talk about it in order to maintain their friendship; because, like with Rachel/Joey, adding sex and romance into the relationship might have made things *too* weird for him and Phoebe.

Ohh I loved Joey & Phoebe. I loved all the flirting they got to do, how many times they got to kiss, and that time they even got "engaged" for about five minutes, lol :D

But I guess I knew it would be a little too cute for the show to end up with the six friends as three matched-up couples.

I was also a big Phoebe/David shipper, though I did like Phoebe/Mike.

When they brought on Anna Faris as Erica (Monica/Chandler's baby mama), I thought she and Joey would have been great together! lol
